Global and local environmental challenges can be helped by changing our habits, our outlooks and leading in our home and work lives by engaging in best practices. Follow along
our site and engage in some of our programs and take in some of the new information and we can work with you to help demonstrate how a landscape that is native can help us turn the tides of climate change and declining biodiversity, while creating natural beauty in our midst.
Landscape Native is a London, Ontario, Canada- based company that uses ecological knowledge to engage outdoor spaces as canvasses; artistically beautiful landscapes filled with native plants and small water bodies (ponds, marshes, bogs) are created.
Rejuvenate, enjoy and discover within a spectacular setting while helping recover declining wildlife and native plants. We strive to bring consciousness into landscaping to create more balanced spaces in urban settings.
We can help you in four main ways:
Doing the Whole Job For You - to get us fully involved, review our Sample Garden Creations and based on one of our theme native gardens of your choice, you decide on the specific vision. This starts the creative process going.
With the characteristics of your site (whether your home, school, or business) in mind and your vision, we present a number of concept sketches for what is possible.
This includes introducing you to a recommended suite of native plants and inanimate features (rocks, logs, etc.) and the kinds of wildlife that would be drawn to your space. The rest flows naturally as we help you create an oasis at your special place.
Amongst many others, we will use many amazing plants in your home yard, schoolyard or at your business location:

With expertise in ecological restoration, wildlife conservation, outdoor education, and landscape design we create distinctive natural landscapes.

We have over fifteen years experience in the environmental charitable sector, including work for Royal Botanical Gardens.
We have completed several breath-taking creations that that contribute to functioning, sustainable ecosystem that can support high species biodiversity.

"At the end of each growing season in a temperate forest, over 70% of the biomass produced that year falls to the ground. This includes leaves, needles,

twigs, and other organic material. It is then decomposed by fungi, and the nutrients return to the soil where they are re-used by other plants and trees."
Please don't bag and send away the forest's or your yard's natural capital!

School is almost out and a young 'artist unknown' created a magical melange (below) from earth, flowers and leaves. Schools with naturalized yards stimulate, assist imagination, and help both spontaneous play and academic learning. Get your school (Landscape Your School) involved today in creating a more natural learning environment.
